SSQ La Toca is a blue-black economy slate

SSQ La Toca is a blue-black economy slate

It is speckled with mineral inclusions which may rust and stain the slates. In spite of this, where oxidisation does not occur, its colour will not fade, even in the strongest sunlight.

La Toca has been tested in accordance with EN 12326, carries the CE marking, and is classified as ‘W1, T2, S1’. The T2 classification confirms that there is the possibility of oxidation occurring, once the slates are laid on a roof, although this does not affect its performance as a roof covering material and is guaranteed as such by SSQ.
