St. Marys Church Malpas in Newport is a mid XIX century Grade II Listed Building. The church was originally designed by one of the leading church architects of South East Wales and today is being recognised for its special architectural significance.

At the time of re-roofing budgetary restrictions and prolonged lead times for sourcing random indigenous grey-green slates limited the options, suggesting that a more cost-effective and readily available option needed to be found.

Having used Riverstone on a number of projects in the past, Camilleri Roofing offered slate as a suitable alternative in both colour and quality. The finished 300m2 roof achieved a beautiful random finish to the satisfaction of the client.
