SSQ’s Silverstone, a natural Spanish slate, is smooth-textured and a tasteful blue-black in colour. It comes from Orense, North-West Spain’s natural slate heartland for slate roof. It has proven to be a favourite of roofing contractors for its attractive grain, its consistency and its lightweight appearance. What’s more, its inert mineral inclusions will not leach or run down the slate.

In addition to passing SSQ’s own rigorous quality-control tests, Silverstone has been tested in accordance with BS EN 12326. It carries the CE marking and is classified as ‘W1, T1, S1’.
